Honduras and Nicaragua Plan Trade Mission to Florida State

From the 15th to the 17th of June, Central American entrepreneurs will have meetings with entrepreneurs from Florida in the cities of Miami and Hollywood.

The event, which was organized by the Florida Foreign Trade Association in conjunction with the city of Hollywood (Florida) and the Broward Alliance, also expects the participation of entrepreneurs from Argentina and Peru.

Participating entrepreneurs will promote products related to agriculture, equipment and electrical supplies, food products, office supplies, and technology, among other types of products, in the United States.

The meetings will be held in Miami, FL, on the 15th and 17th of June and in Hollywood, FL on June 16.

Costa Rican Trade Mission Visits Florida

June 2010

Between August 22 and 26, a group of Costa Rican companies will meet with businesses from Florida, U.S., both in Miami and Orlando.

The activity was organized by the Commercial Service of the U.S. Embassy in Costa Rica and the Costa Rican Trade Chamber (Crecex). It will consist of private meetings between Costa Rican businesses and preselected U.S. companies.

FOB exports of general goods recorded a growth of 10.5% in December 2012, attributed to an increase of $305 million in exports of non-traditional products and $113.3 million in traditional products.

Costa Rica sets long-term goal of boosting trade with Andes

Costa Rica is looking to hold trade negotiations in the future with Peru and Colombia, Trade Minister Marco Vinicio Ruiz said. But first the United States will have to ratify its free trade accord with Colombia, he added.

Once trade agreements are in place between the US and Peru and Colombia, Costa Rica will seek to benefit from common rules of origin.
