The Municipality of the Central District is putting out to tender construction of a yard area for parking and maintenance of buses in the BTR system.

The Municipality of the Central District (CDMA), is inviting eligible bidders to submit sealed bids for the construction of a yard for parking and workshop for maintenance of buses in the BRT system in an area measuring ​​12,550 square meters located between the second and third entrance of the John F. Kennedy colony in Tegucigalpa.

The courtyard will include the construction of a fueling and cleaning area, parking area with reinforced concrete, and will require drinking water facilities, stormwater and wastewater facilities, electricity and exterior lighting, among other things. Together with the yard and workshop, a community park will be built on approximately 6,972 square meters of space, which will have the following recreation areas: i) a multi-sport court, ii) an internet cafe, iii) square with sand, iv) footpaths v) a covered walkway. The total construction will have a construction period of six (6) months.

The deadline for submission of bids is December 19, 2014.
