Honduras: Health Projects Worth $5.8 Million Resume

The projects include the soon to be concluded construction of PRONASA's regional offices.

The director of the National Health Services Program (PRONASA in Spanish), Osmín Bautista, stated that the funds had now been authorized for the the projects to be developed.

Bautista also told Proceso Digital that the funds will also enable contracts that have already been awarded (but stalled due to lack of funds) to be progressed, some of which are expected to be completed by the end of the year.

Environmental permits were the missing process needed to start construction of the project to build a new headquarters for the Legislative Assembly, which will cost $63 million and which will have a construction area measuring 50,000 square meters.

Honduras: Corporate Center for $19 million

October 2015

An announcement has been made of the construction of a 24-story business center with spaces from 35 to 900 square meters and parking for 600 vehicles in San Pedro Sula.

The company Inversiones Nuevos Horizontes plans to start earthworks at the site in January. The business center in which they are investing $19 million will include office spaces, meeting rooms, recreational areas, restaurants, cafes and a vocational training center. The new office center will be located next to the Panorama I and Panorama II buildings in San Pedro Sula.

Honduras to Tender "Civic City" Project

August 2014

The plan announced by the government, with an estimated cost of $180 million, includes the construction, by tender, of a complex of seven towers of government offices.

The government of Honduras has officially announced the project "Ciudad Cívica" (Civic City), a complex of office and commercial buildings and green spaces to house state institutions.
