Central American Trade Figures - II Quarter of 2016

In the second quarter, the region exported $14,440 million, of which 31% went to the intra-regional market and 69% to other markets.

Central America, October 6, 2016. The dynamics of regional trade continue in a negative phase in terms of aggregate growth and internal results in many countries, however, when compared with that seen in the previous quarter a slowdown can be seen in retail trade.

Salvadoran Coffee Exports for $101.4 Million

With an average price of $130.82 per quintal, the first six months of the 2008-2009 coffee year have left an accumulation of $101.4 million.

The value achieved per quintal ($130.82) in this coffee year that began last October is higher when compared to last year when it reached $127.47, according to the Salvadoran Coffee Council.
