Honduran Brewery Invests in Distribution

With an investment of $4.4 million, the company is planning to open two distribution centers by the end of the year, one in Comayagua and another in La Ceiba.

The 28 thousand square meter plant in La Ceiba will generate 200 new jobs.

"With the opening of these facilities hundreds of jobs will be created which will benefit the surrounding populations, increasing on the 3,000 direct jobs that the brewery is currently responsible for" said Augusto Girls, the company’s corporate relations director, to Laprensa.hn

In an interview with El Heraldo, the executive added, that "for now we are ruling out submitting new brands to the market."

Chinese may set up distribution center in Costa Rica

A group of Chinese investors is interested in setting up a distribution center in Costa Rica for Chinese products being exported throughout the region.

The idea is to store everything imported from China or Sweden, where there is another distribution center, with the goal of forging new markets.
