Hino Distribution Group Invests $3 billion in Honduras

Codaca Group, distributor of Hino brand trucks, made the investment for the upgrade of its facilities in San Pedro Sula.

The group's executive chairman, Manuel Siekavizza said during the opening ceremony for the new works, that they have increased their workforce to 140 people.

"In Honduras the company has its second largest operation out of all the markets it serves. ‘We're number two and our goal is to be number one’, said Siekavizza, who affirmed that the group wants to expand on the investment has in Honduras", reported Laprensa.hn

The company has exported 24 units to Cuba in the first seven months of the year.

HINO Trucks Expands to the Caribbean

Guatemalan company Sika Motor, assembler and distributor of Hino trucks, plans to expand to the Caribbean.

The company will start by exporting to Cuba, and selling the vehicles in several Mexican states, said Danilo Siekavizza, president of Sika Motors.

"We are expanding to the Caribbean and Mexico, based on our sales experience in Central America", said the executive, in a Prensa Libre article.

Purdy Codaca Motor to Sell Hino Trucks in Mexico

The Costa Rican-Guatemalan owned company will seek to position Hino brand trucks in various states of northern Mexico.

The company, Codaca Group, with 36 years of experience assembling and distributing Hino trucks in Guatemala, formed a partnership with Purdy Motor.

Elperiodico.com.gt reported the statements of Danilo Siekavizza, president of the Sika Group and owner of Codaca "We already hired personnel for the first showroom in Chihuahua."
