With the aim of providing a query tool which facilitates obtaining documents required by exporters the VUPE-OPA Virtual Library, also known as e-Docs has been implemented. This system will provide a reliable way to consult and download documents in digital format (PDF) which have already been processed by the OPA and VUPE and which will be of great benefit to the environment.
The new e-Docs tool, which is aimed at exporters, went public on March 19, 2013, and in it you can find documents such as daily checking and re-entry, affidavits, resolutions issued by the Ministry of Economy (MINECO) and the Superintendency of Tax Administration (SAT), bond insurance, and exporter update codes, among others.
Soon Central American Customs Order Forms for exporting to Costa Rica will be electronically transmitted .

The Single Window for Exports (VUPE) and the Office of for Active Conditioning (OPA) both part of AGEXPORT, revealed that the export sector of Guatemala will soon will be issuing the Central American Unique Customs Form (FAUCAS) electronically to allow products to be exported to Costa Rica.
The 'Ventanilla Única para las Exportaciones' or VUPE and the Regímenes de Perfeccionamiento Activo or OPA, have launched a new unified website.

In order to offer exporters and the general public ease in obtaining information relating to the export sector, the Ventanilla Única para las Exportaciones -VUPE- and the Oficina de Regímenes de Perfeccionamiento Activo -OPA-have launched a new unified website which provides the following features:
More than 4,000 documents related to foreign trade, competitiveness, economic development, production, international economics and international law will be available.
The Virtual and Physical Library of the Guatemalan Association of Exporters (AGEXPORT), is open to all its members and the general public, making it possible for all materials and digital content which is available in physical format to be consulted via Internet (available only as Infoexport query).
Representatives of public and private sectors in Guatemala are demanding the creation of a single process for import procedures, similar to that for exports.
Siglo21.com.gt notes that since in the country the “Ventanilla Unica” (single counter), also known as (VUPE) only works for exports, the director of Exporter Services, of the Guatemalan Association of Exporters (Agexport), Fernando Herrera, said there is a need to "create an Import Counter".
