According to the bidding rules, the supplier must also provide 7 million ammunition rounds for the guns, 5 thousand tear gas grenades, 2 thousand smoke grenades, 2.500 gas masks and 2.500 security vests, among others, explained Minister Carlos Menocal.

These weapons will be used to equip 3.000 new security agents, who will graduate between September and November, added Menocal.
