Juan Alberto Hernández, director of the National Quality System, noted that the country is usually uses, hands, bunches, pounds, gallons and even truckloads as purchase units.

The OGA has been accepted as a member of the Multilateral Accord of Recognition of the Interamerican Cooperation of Accreditation.
