From a report by the National Statistical Institute of Guatemala (INE):

The Consumer Price Index for November 2014 stood at 118.19, registering a monthly variation of 0.19% and compared to November last year the variation was 3.38%.

The monthly variation 0.19%, accumulated 3.06% and an year on year 3.38%, recorded a slowdown compared to the figures observed in November 2013, 0.45%, 4.07%, 4.63% respectively.

The monthly variation recorded in November 2014 is the fourth lowest in the months of November in the period 2007 to 2013 and is 0.29 below the average of 0.48 for the aforementioned period.

The most important results up to November 2014 are as follows: a monthly rate was registered of 0.19%, year on year of 3.38%, and accumulated 3.06%.

Of the twelve divisions that make up the CPI expenditure, food, 1.07%, recreation, 0.62%, and health, 0.23%, account the most for the level of inflation reached in November, 0.19% .

A report by the National Institute of Statistics states that the Consumer Price Index for May 2016 stood at 124.08, recording a monthly variation of 0.46%, and compared to May last year when the variation was 4.36%.

Guatemala: Annual Inflation to November 2015 is 2.51%

December 2015

In November, the consumer price index recorded a rise of 0.47%, accumulating between January and November inflation of 2.63%.

The monthly change (0.47%) registered an acceleration compared to November 2014 (0.19%), while the accumulated (2.63%) and annual (2.51%) variations, recorded a slowdown in the price level compared to what was observed in November 2014.

Guatemala: 3.45% YoY Inflation up to September

October 2014

In September, the consumer price index rose by 0.05%, with the three categories Alcoholic Beverages, Recreation and Culture, and Various Goods and Services increasing the most.
