Fort Lauderdale - Roatan Flight Announced

The Honduran Institute of Tourism has announced that from December IBC Airways will fly twice a week between Fort Lauderdale and the island of Roatan.

Emilio Silvestri, director of the Honduran Institute of Tourism (IHT), explained that the flights made by the US airline will arrive in Roatan on Wednesdays and Sundays.

Silvestri added in an article on Laprensa.hn that "... company executives made the official announcement through a statement sent to both the private sector of the country and the different companies they work with."

"... IBC Airways, a US airline, was founded in 1991. It is based in Broward County, Florida, near Fort Lauderdale. It flies to 13 international airports around the world and has 37 routes. "
