This bidding process had a reference price of $600.000, and the proposals received were as follows:

Asociación Accidental Cotrans-Norris, $554.795

Prointec, S.A., $540,000.11

F.G. Guardia y Asociados, $540,002.25

Consorcio Ciudad Gubernamental Proyeco-Arnaiz, $540,000.00

Consorcio A.A. P.-Castinsa, $577,800.00

The proposals will be submitted for evaluation to a committee which will review and issue a report.

Cotrans-Norris to Design Panama's "Government City"

The bid evaluation committee has awarded the contract to design and develop the construction plans for Panama's new "Government City" ("Ciudad Gubernamental" in Spanish) to Cotrans-Norris.

Of the five companies that took part in the public tender (Prointec, F.G. Guardia y Asociados, Consorcio Ciudad Gubernamental Proyetco-Arnaiz, Consorcio A.A.P.-Castinsa and Cotrans-Norris) only Cotrans-Norris and F.G.

Panama: New Tender for City Government

By declaring as void the contract call for design of the City Government, the Government of Panama will launch a new tender.

Determined by the evaluation committee, none of the three companies which submitted bids, F. G. Guardia y Asociados, Consorcio Ciudad Gubernamental Proyecto Arnaiz, and Omniconsult, managed to meet the minimum requirements set out in the terms and conditions of the project.
