Expocomer to Open Its Doors in Panama Tomorrow

Expocomer 2009 will be held at the ATLAPA Convention Center until March 7. Twenty-seven countries and fourteen trade missions will participate.

More Than $100 Million in Business in Expocomer 2009

According to preliminary figures, the 2009 Expocomer trade fair in Panama had transactions totaling more than $100 million.

The 2009 edition of the fair received 20,000 visitors, 7% more than the previous year which did $128.3 million in business.

According to the article published in laestrella.com.pa, "Organizers believe that they will reach a similar figure [$128 million].

Expocomer Expects to Generate $150 Million in Business

The fair opened today with 600 booths where 900 companies from 25 countries are displaying their products and services, hoping to receive between 15 and 20 thousand visitors.

Despite the crisis, it is estimated that the fair will generate revenues of about $20 to $25 million for the Panamanian economy, surpassing even what was achieved in the 2008 edition.

Expocomer 2013 Announced in Panama

The Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture has officially announced EXPOCOMER 2013, to be held from 17 to 20 April 2013 at the ATLAPA Convention Center.

Expocomer Generated Deals for $ 128.5 Million

Regional exchange of goods and infrastructure development were the two pillars which dominated the twenty-ninth edition of the trade event.

The 500 firms present at the Atlapa Convention Center from Wednesday through Saturday, generated 12.633 business contacts.

Prensa.com wrote, "The twenty-ninth edition of Expocomer had not concluded and organizers had sold 60% of available spaces for 2012, a good thermometer of what happened at the event."
