Between $7.1 and $7.4 million for Residential Buildings

The companies A & D Design, Grupo Bebasa and the Consortium RODASA-NYR Villa Olga presented bids in Panama to build the apartment building Viviendas Barraza.

Three bidders are competing for the award of the project for an apartment building in Barraza (in Calle Prospero Pinel and Diciembre 20), in the amount of $7.4 million, in the tender called by the Ministry of Housing and Land Management (Miviot).

According to Prensa.com, "... the companies in question are A & D Design Group Panamá Corp., who offered $7.1 million; Grupo Bebasa who offered $7.1 million; and Consorcio RODASA-NYR Villa Olga proposed $7.4 million. "

"... the members of the evaluation committee, composed of the Secretary General, Martin Sucre; Maswell de Obaldía, director of Engineering and Architecture, and Carlos Schmidth, head of the company's purchases are responsible for the opening of bids. Schmidth informed the representatives of the three participating companies that they will analyze the documentation over a period of five working days. "

The Bebasa Group will oversee the design and construction of the New Life project in the village of Curundú, Panama City, in the amount of $7.5 million.

The Ministry of Housing and Land Management (Miviot) won the contract for $7,581,845.39 for the supply of materials, labor, equipment and administration for studies, designs and construction of the building infrastructure project Nueva Vida, located on Fourth Avenue, in the village of Curundú, Panama District, Panama Province.

Panamanian Metro Out to Tender on April 26

Next Monday, the Metro Secretary will unveil the bidding rules for designing and building the first line of the Panamanian Metro.

Three prequalified consortiums will be invited to bid: CIMA, “Consorcio Línea Uno” and “Grupo Italiano Metro Panamá”.

For the time being, they will not include another consortium, “Consorcio Metro de Panama”, who filed a claim against the Metro Secretary decision of excluding them from the process. According to the report, this group was ruled out as it head company lacked a minimum $750 million of net capital.
