El Salvador: Millionaire Project Awaiting Permits

'Playa Secreta' (Secret Beach), a touristic project located in La Union's coastline is in hold, waiting for environmental permits.

The project comprises resorts, bungalows, marina, golf courses and the development of 11 hotels in the next 10 years.

"We are waiting for environmental permits. Once we have them, we will start the project", said

$200 million for "Playa Secreta" Resort in El Salvador

An ambitious beach resort, calculated to be approximately 692 acres, is being developed in the east of the country.

The project which includes a golf course, several hotels, a residential complex, open areas, plazas with arts and crafts shops, a supermarket and convenience stores, and will be based on the architectural layout of Antigua in Guatemala.

$175 million Resort

A plan is being made to develop residential buildings and a 614 room hotel complex in a 25 acres area ​​in the touristic area of ​​Rio Hato, Panama.

The promoter of the project, Agro Playa Blanca SA, detailed in the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) submitted to the Ministry of Environment, that the development will be called "Agro Playa Blanca Phase II", and will be built in Rio Hato, district of Antón, province of Cocle.

Hard Rock Hotel Panama to be built

Hard Rock Hotel Panama, a four-star condo-hotel development with 499 rooms, has received approval to start construction. It is expected to open in 2010.

Hyatt signs agreement with Aldesa from Costa Rica

Affiliates of Global Hyatt Corporation and Aldesa Inmobiliaria have announced the signing of a management agreement for Park Hyatt Monte del Barco in Guanacaste, Costa Rica, due to open in 2012.

The 140-room resort will be located in the bay of Culebra, within the province of Guanacaste on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica, where Aldesa together with US-based resort designing company Winding Road, are developing Monte del Barco, a premier luxury lifestyle estate.
