Bidding for the first 500 unit housing project, to be located in San Miguel, will be done in the second half of September. In October, the process will start for the other two projects, one for 1.500 residences in San Martín, and the other for 300 homes in "Polígono Don Bosco".

Marco Antonio Fontín is the president of the National Fund for Social Housing, also known as Fonavipo. He explained some details of the process to newspaper ElSalvador.com: "Urban development could start in November, while construction of the houses would begin in January. ... There will be ten companies working, not one, as we are going to distribute packages of 50 homes to each company, so construction length could be reduced to four months".
