Eight Call Centers Come to Honduras
The call centers have been authorized by the National Telecommunications Commission to operate and create 1,000 jobs.

Two of the registered call centers will be located in Tegucigalpa, and the other six will be located in San Pedro Sula. The companies are Asesores Gerenciales, Globanet, Telefonia IP, Telesis, America de Inversiones, Latincon, Axioma Empresarial and Inversiones Hada.
The company Affiliated Computer Services (ACS) will select the bilingual personnel for its future call center on the 19th and 20th of June.
In order to grow, the call center industry needs to train 22 thousand Guatemalans over the next two years.
24/7 Customer will double its operations during this year, adding 500 people to their current workforce of 900.
The company Teleperformance, of French origin, has announced its intention to open a call center in Guatemala.
