Cuba Interested in Honduran Livestock
Cuban buyers, through the embassy, have requested to explore cattle purchasing possibilities in Honduras.

Tiempo.hn publishes: "The Government reported yesterday that they have already initiated contacts with the Cuban government regarding the export of cattle as Honduran producers have requested aid in finding new markets because the local price has been lowered due to competitive offers."
Footwear, textiles, dairy and meat are some of the goods that have potential to be exported to the Caribbean island.
The second round of negotiations is scheduled for January 21 - 23
Despite the efforts of Costa Rican exports promotion agency PROCOMER, sales to Cuba see little to no growth.
The agreement approved by the National Assembly of Nicaragua allows entry into the Cuban market of products such as meat, milk, honey and black beans.
