Costa Rican pasta says 'Buon appetito!' to Panama

Pasta y Basta, a member of the Costa Rican Food Group, has signed export contracts with Panama and is in negotiations with clients in the Dominican Republic and Guatemala.

Paolo Bonessa, the owner of Pasta y Basta, began talks in Panama in May that have led to export contracts for his fresh, frozen and dried pasta, as well as for classic Italian pasta sauces.

Costa Rican Food Group Explores Chilean Market

April 2009

The 10-company food consortium participated in a multi-sector Trade Mission to Chile in March.

The visit, organized by the Costa Rican Foreign Trade Promoter (Procomer), allowed the Costa Ricans to initiate contact with Chilean entrepreneurs for an eventual entry of their products to the South American country.
