Costa Rica hosts Expomóvil 2009

Expomóvil 2009 will be held in La Ribera de Belén from March 13 – 22, with the presence of more than forty exhibitors.

Leticia Vindas wrote in the El Financiero website: "Some of the participating brands are Renault, Mazda, Nissan, Mercedes-Benz, Chrysler, Audi, Mitsubishi Motors, Suzuki, Hyundai, Citroën, Ford, Honda, Isuzu, Yamaha, Geely, BMW and Volvo. For the second consecutive year, Toyota distributor, Purdy Motor, will not participate.

Francisco Salazar, a member of the organizing committee, reported that they expect about 45,000 visitors, slightly less than last year when between 50,000 to 55,000 attended the event."

It is the fifth edition of this car show, where companies showcase and sell vehicles.
Car and motorcycle dealers, heavy machinery companies and vehicle parts and accessories businesses are participating in the event.
