Costa Rica: $ 15 Million for Tilapia Food Plant

Aquacorporación Internacional and Biomar International will build a food processing plant for tilapia in Cañas, Guanacaste.

The plant will generate 50 new jobs and will begin operations in the first quarter of 2012.

"The factory will serve the domestic market and will export to Central and South America, where the groups have developed tilapia production and other freshwater species." reports Nacion.com.
