Costa Rica: New Mall Announced

Expreso Mall will be located in Desamparados, in the Costa Rican capital, and will have 84 stores, and a supermarket and a hardware store as anchor stores.

Calle Nicata S.A., the Spanish subsidiary of Inmobiliaria Rio Omega, is the company in charge of the shopping center, which will offer commercial premises with sizes ranging from 15-350 square meters, of which "... 70% have already been negotiated."

The Walmart supermarket and the hardware chain store EPA are two companies that have already confirmed their presence in the mall, which will have 600 open air and indoor parking spaces, and will be completed in the third quarter of 2016.

Nicaragua: Shopping mall for $20 million

The construction of an 18 thousand square meter two level shopping mall has started on the New Road to Leon.

November 2013

Grupo Zeta has opened a shopping center in San Jose which has 25 stores and a parking area for 80 cars.

This is the first shopping center by the chain Vivo Plaza and was built on a plot of 3,700 m², near the Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad (ICE) in San Pedro. 80% of the premises have already been occupied and measure from 50 m² to 250 m².
