From a report by the Central Bank of Costa Rica:

The trend cycle series of the Monthly Index of Economic Activity (IMAE) had an interannual variation of 2.4% in November 2017, 2.2 percentage points (pp) lower than the variation seen one year earlier. The year-on-year slowdown can be explained by a decline observed in the construction industry and by a lower rate of growth of business services and financial and insurance activities. Click to interact with graphClick to interact with graph

On the other hand, average growth up to November 2017 was 3.0% and the variation of the last twelve months was 3.1%.

According to the trend cycle series, with the exception of the construction industry, all economic activities showed positive interannual variations in November 2017, where manufacturing activities and business services were the ones with the greatest contribution to the variation of the indicator.
