Costa Rica: $1 Million Work Clothing Tender
The Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad tenders the purchase of clothing and safety accessories.

The tender is for the purchase of glasses, gloves, harnesses, masks, boots, shoes, shirts, pants, hearing protection, safety helmets and other occupational safety equipment.
High potential for online shopping in China has brought up opportunities for segments such as bathing suits, where 60% are imported products.
A group of 30 companies which design and manufacture clothing and footwear have come together to improve their position internationally and look for more business opportunities.
In March this year, the textile and manufacturing industries, including the manufacturers of wire harnesses and garments, grew by 3% compared to the same period in 2013.
In 2011 the country imported $251 million worth of clothes, an increase of 12% compared to the previous year.
