Continental Adds New York Flight

Starting in August, the airliner will operate two weekly flights from Guatemala to New York.

The new flight comes as a result of the increase in the number of travelers in the Guatemala - New York route in the high season, executives of the company reported in an article in Prensalibre.com.

"The new flight departs from La Aurora International Airport on Saturdays at 15:00, and arrives at Newark, New Jersey, at 21:00. It is a nonstop flight."

More Flights Between Guatemala and Mexico

August 2015

Starting October Aeromexico will increase to 4 the number of frequencies it operates per week between the capitals of Mexico and Guatemala.

The Mexican airline announced that with this new frequency it will be operating 28 flights per week from 1 October between the two cities.

ATLANTA, September 17, 2014 - Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) will resume its seasonal nonstop service connecting Liberia, Costa Rica, with Los Angeles and centers of international airline operations in Minneapolis / St. Paul and New York-JFK. It will also resume seasonal service between San Jose and Minneapolis / St. Paul.

New Flight between Guatemala and Colombia

August 2010

The airline Aero República has announced a new flight between Guatemala City and Bogota with stops in Costa Rica and Panama.

The frequency of the new flight will be daily from Monday to Friday and seeks to attract business passengers.

"Rudy Keller, general manager of Copa Airlines Guatemala, owning group of Aero República, commented that the market's demand for a new route to Bogota has grown due to an increase in corporate travel," reports Prensalibre.com.
