The municipal engineer, Manuel Guerrero, explained to Nacion.com that "... in recent years there has been an interesting upturn in the construction of social housing in that district, through the bond, which he considered very important because it reduces the deficit of houses. There are upturns in the areas of commerce and tourism, but the council would expect much more to help the takeoff of the district."
