Construction Contracts in Panama - November 2015

Road renovation works and housing construction are the subject of some of the contracts awarded in Panama in November 2015.

The report entitled "Construction Projects in Panama - November 2016", prepared by the Business Intelligence unit at CentralAmericaData.com, provides a list of the main contracts for construction in November.

The Ministry of Public Works has awarded Constructora MECO, SA a road renovation contract for the Pips-Llana Arriba-La-La Mesa Pitaloza stretches in the provinces of Herrera and Los Santos. The value of the work is $13,839,562.

The Institute of Aqueducts and Sewage Systems awarded Aqualogy Latam SASESP the design and construction of monitoring and control points in the matrix system of the the aqueduct network of Panama City Stage -2. The amount awarded is $10,469,397.

Tocumen SA awarded Constructora Rodsa SA the design and construction of pavements, lighting, signage, drainage and marking of the taxiway H and and shoulder 03L at Tocumen International Airport, valued at $4,967,484.

The Ministry of Housing awarded EcoHabitat, SA a contract for the supply of materials, labor, equipment and administration for studies, design and construction of the project Terrazas de Ancon. The amount awarded is $ 3,749,000.

Road Renovation Contract Awarded

The Costa Rican company MECO has obtained a contract to renovate the surface of several taxiways inside Tocumen International Airport, in Panama.

From a statement issued by Tocumen International Airport:

Tocumen International Airport, the main one in Panama, has awarded through a public tender, the renovation of surfaces of the taxiways Echo, Alpha and Taxi Lane Cargo Apron, with which it seeks to provide better flow of the aircraft and reduce of operating times.

Awards: Construction of Aircraft Platforms

January 2016

The Consortium TRANSEQ La Estrella will carry out the work at Tocumen International Airport in Panama for $7.8 million.

Tocumen International Airport awarded the contract for $7,842,880.75 for the design and construction of one of its aircraft parking platforms, located next to the airport's fire station.
