From a statement issued by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of Panama:

This Congress will be held from 2nd to 4th of September from 9 a.m. to 6:00 pm at the Riu Plaza Hotel, and is expected to bring together more than 400 participants from 22 countries, who will have the opportunity to review the latest developments in agro technologies and international trade of horticultural items.

The Minister of Trade and Industry, Meliton Arrocha, said that among the most important objectives of the conference is to facilitate business meetings, update knowledge and strategies to facilitate the export market; optimize trade agreements signed by Panama and other opportunities for international trade, which serve as tools for sustainability and increasing our exports, achieving greater participation in traditional markets; as well as new export markets.

Trade Show for Panamanian Exporters

August 2017

Companies from the industrial and agricultural sectors are being called on to participate in business rounds with international buyers from September 13 to 15 in Panama City.

The second version of the National Congress of Exporters (Conexport), organized by the Ministry of Commerce and Industries (MICI), will be held at the Sheraton Hotel from September 13 to 15.

In the National Congress on Exports, from September 14th to 16th 2016, business opportunities and markets for exporting companies will be presented.

The event is being organized by the Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Panamanian Exporters Association, and aims to "facilitate trade and partnerships in traditional and non-traditional markets."

Panama: How and What to Export to Sweden

November 2015

On November 24th and 26th two forums will be held to raise awareness of the business opportunities presented by the European country and what requirements must be met in order to export goods.

The activities are being organized by the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MITI), the Embassy of Panama in Sweden and the Open Trade Gate Sweden (Swedish Agency for Trade Facilitation), and will be held on November 24th at the headquarters of the ICIM and November 26th at the Chamber of Commerce of Chiriqui (Camchi).

XX Congress of Melon and Watermelon Producers and Exporters

August 2012

Panama is home to the XX International Congress of Producers and Exporters of Melon and Watermelons in Central America which brings together companies and exporters.

Organized by the Group of Non-Traditional Exporters of Panama (Gantrap) it will end on Saturday August 18 with business negotiation rounds between exporters, producers, importers and service providers.
