Central America and European Union to Create Financial Fund

The negotiators also proposed a work schedule leading to the completion of the association agreement between Central America and the European Union in July. The next meeting will take place in Prague, on May 14, during the EU-Rio Group Summit."
Following the announcement by the Europeans of their willingness to "listen carefully" to its requests, Nicaragua is going back to the Partnership Agreement process.
The negotiations for an Association Agreement between Central America and the European Union will resume in February.
Central America hopes to achieve a new exchange of offers of access to the markets of the European Union in the second week of July.
Central America is beginning the process of reviewing the final text of the agreement signed with the European Union last May.
