The information system"Construction Projects in Central America",run by the Business Intelligence Unit at CentralAmericaData, provides an up to date list of the public and private construction projects for which environmental impact assessment (EIA) studies were submitted to the respective institutions of each country in December 2016.
Details of some of the projects:
Estudio Presidencial S.A. presented an EIA to build, in the district of El Carmen, Province of San Jose, Costa Rica, 3 buildings with 2 basements and 10 storeys each which will house a total 323 apartments and 352 parking spaces. According to the document, the project is called "Condominio DI" and the total investment amount is $32,435,011.
Inmobiliaria Tenare, Sociedad Anónima submitted an EIS to build, in Zone 4 of Mixco, department of Guatemala, 6 towers with 8 and 9 storeys with their corresponding support areas plus a clubhouse. According to the study, the project is called "Alegría Apartamentos" and the investment amount is $10,097,238.
Real de las Palomas FA S.A.presented an EIA to build, in Santa Ana, province of San Jose, a vertical condominium which will have common areas. According to the document, the project is called "Condominio Vertical Residencial Real Las Palomas" and the total investment will be $5,500,000.
