Bryan Mora, Deloitte's Tax and Legal Manager, explained to Nacion.com that "... when the customer receives the invoice he/she sends a file to accept or reject the receipt to Hacienda, and Hacienda also accepts or rejects the file. The modified deadline is for the customer to send to Hacienda."

Álvaro Retana, general manager of GTI Electronic Invoice, said that "... the confirmation message from the General Directorate of Taxation will be mandatory to support accounting for electronic senders or receivers."

The change is important, because companies must adjust their procedures so that they can perform the necessary validations before sending acceptance, partial acceptance or rejection, and thus avoid reprocesses of sending to comply with the stipulated by the regulation of electronic vouchers, explains a statement from Deloitte published by Nacion.com.
