A call is being made to companies working in clothing and footwear, food, and tourism to attend a business conference to be held on April 6 in Managua.

The event is being organized by the Nicaraguan Development Institute (INDE), and is aimed at SMEs who are distributors of footwear, clothing, food and tourism, which, according to INDE, are the products most in demand at this time of year.
"...The meeting is intended to create relationships between entrepreneurs, enabling them to improve their sales, indicated the non-governmental organization that promotes the importance of private enterprise as a means of progress."
"...Similar meetings will be organized in different departments in Nicaragua in order to advise employers on how to design business ties so that they can be more competitive, said the INDE. This time of year, called "summer" in Nicaragua, could represent about $200 million in sales, mostly during Holy Week, from April 9 to 16, according to the private sector."
A meeting is being organized for July 6 and 7 for businessmen and government representatives from both countries in Managua in order to explore business opportunities.
The activity is being organized by the Ministry of Development, Industry and Commerce of Nicaragua, and the Embassy of Colombia.The objective of the event is to bring together businessmen from both countries to analyze investment opportunities, and develop alliances to improve the promotion of foreign trade and trade exchanges.
On March 8 Peruvian companies will be visiting Managua to explore business opportunities in construction, bottling and packaging, the food industry and other areas.
The event, being organized by the Embassy of Nicaragua in Peru with the support of the Chamber of Commerce and Services of Nicaragua, will be held on March 8 at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Managua.
A business conference for companies in both countries is being organized for February 19th and 20th, 2015 in Managua.
Organized by the Mexican Nicaraguan Chamber (Camexnic), the event will bring together Mexican investors with Nicaraguan companies to discuss business opportunities between the two countries.
A group of businessmen is traveling with president Mauricio Funes in his upcoming official visit to Colombia.
The visit is scheduled for the 23rd and 24th of February.
It is expected for the group of businessmen to participate in the tourism fair "Tourism Showcase ANATO 2011", which will be inaugurated by the two presidents.
