Brewery allince unites Costa Ricans and Guatemalans

An alliance between Cervecería Centroamericana de Guatemala and Cervecería Costa Rica will allow the two to expand the range of options available to beer drinkers.

Thursday, July 10, 2008

The agreement seeks to satisfy the demand for new products in the brewing niche of both countries. They plan to do this with the appearance in the Costa Rican market of the Gallo brand, and of the Imperial brand in Guatemala.
During the first three months of the interchange, distribution will be done through establishments previously chosen in each national capital.
In Guatemala, supermarkets and restaurants that cater to the upper end of the market have been chosen to carry Imperial.
