Brazil Trade Mission to Visit Panama

Brazilian businessmen will visit the country between August 16th and 20th, looking to promote trade and bilateral investment.

The visit will take place as a stop in a trade tour covering Venezuela, Peru and Panama, and will be headed by the Brazilian Minister of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade, Miguel Jorge. Each stop will feature business workshops, business tables and meeting with authorities.

According to El-nacional.com, the press release by the Ministry states that "the main business opportunities for Brazilian businessmen in Venezuela, Peru and Panama are the sectors of equipment and machinery, electric and electronic materials, food and beverage, construction, energy, defense and infraestructure".

The Taiwanese delegation is composed of companies from various industries such as machinery, tools, construction materials and health.

C.Y. Liu, economic advisor for the Taiwanese embassy, noted his country’s desire of increasing trade relations with El Salvador.
