The OAS report also recommended the use of bio-fuels within the country, for which he proposes to start in 2012 a progressive plan to mix up to 10% ethanol to the fuels used by motor vehicles in Guatemala, and by 2014 start using biodiesel mixed in a ratio of up to 5%.
