Bidding for Panama Canal Locks will be in March
The Panama Canal Authority (ACP, by its initials in Spanish) will receive the technical and price proposals next March 3rd for the design and construction of the third set of locks.

Prensa publishes on its website: "It is the largest contract in the expansion program, with an estimated value of close to 60% of the $5.25 billion budgeted."
Experts are reviewing technical aspects of the largest contract worth $5.25 billion, and contract adjudication is expected by July.
The winner consortium presented a $3,1 billion offer for the design and construction of the new set of locks of Panama Canal.
The PCA announced yesterday that Consortium Grupo Unidos por el Canal will design and build the waterway's new set of locks.
The Canal Authority will open the envelopes containing the economic proposals from the three qualified consortiums on July 8th.
