More Costa Rican Franchises

Data from the Chamber of Commerce shows that franchises of Costa Rican origin increased 40.9% in the past four years.

According to the same study, out of the 150 franchises operating in the country, 14% are of Costa Rican origin.

Franchises in Costa Rica Up 14.6%

According to a 2010 study by the Chamber of Commerce, 22 new franchises were identified in relation to 2009.

There are 172 franchises currently operating in the country of which 14% are in San Jose. Of the 147 international franchises, 59% are of U.S. origin.

"According to the study, there are 1.432 establishments operating in the country, of which 571 (38%) are national franchises and 861 (62%) are international," informed Elfinancierocr.com.
