Atlantic Airlines cancel operations in Honduras

This situation was confirmed by Ovidio Aguilar, regional head of the DGAC, in La Ceiba, "one week ago Atlantic canceled its flights to Tegucigalpa and other domestic flights."

The airlines which was hit by claims of corruption along with the former head of Aeronautica, Guillermo Seaman, has now ceased to operate at the national level.
During September, the DGAC suspended flights from San Pedro Sula for a few days, since Atlantic did not meet several technical requirements.

"Sergio Armado Sierra, general manager of Guatemala City's La Aurora airport stated that Mexicana's operation of the remaining flights is unchanged," reports Prensalibre.com.

Mexicana Cancels Flight to Costa Rica

The airline has suspended the flight covering the San José - Cancún route until further notice.

The company has announced that one of its San José - Mexico flights has been suspended leaving just one flight at 7:15am from Costa Rica.

"The changes to flights are part of the cut backs that Mexicana announced yesterday.
