American to Operate Direct Flight Costa Rica – New York

AA announced on April 6th it will operate a direct flight between JFK Airport in New York and Juan Santamaría Airport in Costa Rica.

Flight 611 will depart from San Jose five times a week, every day except Fridays and Sundays.

It will be operated with Boeing 757 planes, capable of 15 Executive Class passengers and 166 in Tourist Class.

Nonstop Dallas-Roatan Flight

As of November 23, American Airlines will offer a direct flight on Saturdays between Dallas International Airport and Roatan.

In addition, the airline announced it will increase the Miami-Roatan frequency to three flight per week, also in November. These new flights will be on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Direct Flight Costa Rica – London

October 2010

Thomson Airlines will operate a direct flight between London and Liberia airport starting November 2nd.

The flight will be operated once a week by a Boeing 767 with room for 258 passengers.

Interviewed by Prensalibre.com Carlos Ricardo Benavides, Minister of Tourism, says; "This flight will generate a significant increase in British tourists with a 14 day stay, with varied travel options which include different areas of the country like the North, the Caribbean and North Pacific.”

New Flight Between El Salvador and Dallas

June 2010

Starting June 11th, American Airlines will operate a daily flight between El Salvador and the Texan city of Dallas, U.S.

The new route will be served with one Boeing 737-800, which includes 148 seats, 16 in executive class and 132 in economy.

“Currently, American operates two direct daily flights between El Salvador and Miami International Airport. There also a daily flight to Los Angeles”, reported Elsalvador.com.
