The "Information System for the Impact Analysis of Covid-19 on Business", prepared by the Trade Intelligence Unit of CentralAmericaData, measures the degree of impact that the crisis will have on companies, depending on the country, sector or economic activity, during the coming months.

If the quarantine is extended for three months in the country, it is estimated that business related to water purification and bottling could fall by about 8%. Another sector that is in the group of those that will be impacted in the Panamanian market, but in lesser magnitude, is the Brewing sector.

According to projections from the interactive information system, sales of food condiments and seasonings could decrease by approximately 5.1% in this scenario of restrictions to mobility.

The information system can help you answer questions such as:

How and how much will my business be affected?
How much could the demand for my products and services fall in the medium term?
Which sectors are most at risk of registering significant falls in their sales?
How many of my customers and suppliers could face problems?
