A Successful 2011 for Central America

CentralAmericaData wishes the Central American business community a successful 2011.

Monday, January 3, 2011

It will be a tough year. Many challenges await, but also many opportunities are there to be taken advantage of. We believe this to be Central America’s greatest advantage: it is a region where much is to be done, with many unexploited market niches ready for smart entrepreneurs.

With over 40 million inhabitants, and blessed with geographical proximity to the U.S., Canada and Mexico (the largest economic bloc in the world), Central America has many of the conditions needed to fully integrate with the global economy and improve the living conditions of its far too large poor population.

Not having completed its economic integration remains the largest obstacle for business in Central America, and its political integration lags further behind. Although a lot of ground has been covered in commercial terms, a lot is yet to be done, and the only way to complete it might be to start working in the political area.
As it has done until now, in 2011 CentralAmericaData.COM will remain the business hub of the region, and its main showing room for its products and services. In this year we will continue improving our Central American Business Network while adding personalized information services and virtual business roundtables.

Happy and successful 2011.
