$41 Million in Procomer's Business Meeting

The first day of negotiations saw $41 million in deals, up from the expected $20 million.

254 small and medium exporters have attended the event, in which they met with 201 international purchasers from 29 countries and 3 continents, with whom 2.757 business appointments have been scheduled.

According to the Costa Rican Trade Promotion Agency, PROCOMER, these agreements between businessmen were worth $17.185.000 in the food sector, $13.615.600 in agriculture and $9.249.900 in the industrial sector.

Costa Rican Trade Mission To Dominican Republic

Exports promotion authority Procomer has invited IT companies to take part in commercial mission to Dominican Republic.

The event will take place in Dominican Republic, from June 8 to 10.

“Dominican Republic is moving towards an unprecedented global virtual market, creating important business opportunities for IT companies in niches such as telecommunications, mobile devices, wireless technology, banking, cloud computing and electronic payments”, stated Procomer.

The trade mission is being organized by Costa Rica's export promotion agency, Procomer. It will visit Toronto from July 20 through 23.

Trade Minister Marco Vinicio Ruiz is joined by 7 companies in a trade mission to Peru.

Ruiz will hold a meeting with his homologous Martín Peréz, in order to exchange opinions on topics of common interest.

The trade mission is composed by companies from different sectors like chemical-pharmaceutical, food and beverages, among others.

Costa Rican Trade Mission Visits Nicaragua

15 companies from Costa Rica are meeting with their Costa Rican counterparts to foster bilateral trade.

Cecilia Frixione, promotion director at the Nicaraguan Commerce Chamber (Caconic), explained that the main objective of the encounter is to improve the “commercial relations between the countries”.
