According to information from the Central Bank, revenue for sugar exports to Canada have gone from $33 million last year to $57 million in 2010.

"Sugar is one of the most exported products to Canada. El Salvador is negotiating a Free Trade Agreement with this country, which will increase the tariff-free sugar quota for Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua", reports Laprensagrafica.com.
