$102 million agro-industrial investment proposed for Honduras
A British group offered the Government of Honduras to invest in milk and meat processing plants at Olancho.

The La Prensa of Honduras reported that Hector Hernandez, Head of the Secretariat of Agriculture and Livestock: "met with investors from the British company, Anglo American Project; they are interested in opening two plants in partnership with producers from Olancho.
Milk producers in Aguán Valley, with the support of BANADESA and the Agriculture Secretariat are seeking to industrialize.
In order to take advantage of the conditions offered by both countries for the development of farming a proposal will be made to the Mexican companies Lala and Sukarne to expand operations to Honduras.
Plants and establishments producing beef in Costa Rica, are being inspected as a requirement before the opening of the Peruvian market for this product.
With an initial investment of $30 million Slaughterhouse Sukarne Group has inaugurated the first intensive animal farming factory in the country.
