Taiwan Increases Sugar Privileges for Panama

The finance ministers of both countries signed the new resolution in Panama City.

Capital.com.pa published on its website, "According to the resolution, Panamanian sugar will benefit from the privilege of exemption from duty under a quota when being exported to Taiwan in the future.

According to the FTA between Taiwan and Panama, which entered into force in 2004, Panamanian sugar benefits from preferential treatment of exemption from customs duties when exported to Taiwan, while Taiwan is in charge of distribution of export quotas. '
